Cris Vinson: AI Speaker and Business Consultant

I am an AI speaker and business consultant in the Philippines. I help founders and business teams turn what they know into systems they can use, review and improve.

What I teach now

I am Cris Vinson, a speaker, AI business consultant and author of The Bootstrap Entrepreneur. My work connects customer understanding, business operations and practical AI implementation.

In my recent Cebu talks, I focused on a problem I see among founders and agency owners: adding tools can leave you with more work. The useful question is which job needs to improve, what a good result looks like and how the system fits the people involved.

My teaching starts with the customer and works back to the knowledge, method and connections an agent needs. It also includes the parts that fail. I have described an event assistant giving the wrong venue and an automated publishing chain producing work I was not happy with. Those examples matter because someone has to own the result.

Three parts of a useful AI system

  1. Business knowledge: the current offer, customer context, voice, evidence and operating instructions behind a useful answer.
  2. Connections: access to the information and tools needed for a clearly permitted job.
  3. A repeatable method: a process with examples and standards that you can test, adapt and repair.

An agent needs a specific role. Give it the information it should use, decide what it may do and name the person who handles exceptions. The same setup can help one business and fail in another when the customer or workflow changes.

For founders, teams and service providers

For a founder: start with a repeated job that still depends on you. Map the decisions and handoffs before adding another tool.

For a business team: make the operating knowledge clear enough that a new person or agent can follow it. Keep an owner responsible for current facts and the standard of work.

For an agency or service provider: choose one customer problem and a bounded implementation. Explain the deliverable, support responsibilities and acceptance checks before expanding the offer.

I discuss these ideas in talks, workshops and business implementation conversations. If you are organizing a session, bring the audience's actual work into the brief: their recurring problems, current tools and the decisions they need to make.

Start with the recent teaching

The practical guides on this site develop ideas from my October 2026 Cebu sessions and September Conversation AI workshops. They include operating briefs, knowledge-base decisions, quality checks and a service-selection worksheet.

The Conversation AI Challenge focuses on a first customer-conversation agent. The Bootstrap MBA addresses the broader business around your expertise and offer. The program guide explains the difference and points to the current offer pages.

Speaking appearances listed by the organizers

  • Future of Agencies, Cebu, October 2026: the organizer's 2026 agenda lists my session on AI tools and agentic systems. The talk recap develops the business knowledge, connections and methods behind that session.
  • HighLevel LIVE Manila, August 2026: the HighLevel event page lists me as a panelist under my full name, Cris Joselito Vinson IV.
  • WordCamp Iloilo, July 2023: the organizer's speaker record documents an earlier speaking appearance. My current AI teaching is described above.

What could an AI workshop for your team cover?

A useful brief starts with the work your audience needs to improve. An illustrative session could help founders choose one repeated job, write the agent's responsibilities, organize the information it needs and agree how to check the output. The practical takeaway is an operating brief the team can develop and test.

For a team working on customer inquiries, the session could instead use the conversation planning guide to map the customer's next step and the handoff to a person. We would agree the format and scope around the audience and the time available.

What should you prepare before getting in touch?

Bring one repeated problem, a short account of the current process, the person responsible, the tools you already use and the outcome you want the session to help with. For an event, include the audience, proposed date and format.

How do you book a talk or discuss an implementation?

Use the inquiry form to share your brief. Scope, timing and availability are agreed after the inquiry; submitting the form does not confirm a booking.
